Our clients are referred to us for individual therapy by parents, teachers, counselors, or self referral. Issues commonly addressed include: anger management, parent conflict, depression, self-esteem, suicidal feelings, lack of motivation, inability to express feelings and emotions, and physical or sexual abuse and behavioral issues.
Family members are encouraged to be involved throughout treatment because involvement from the whole family system can help to bring about meaningful change, natural supports, and improvement in the lives of our clients.
We lead groups in our office, community, and schools. Conflict resolution, communication skills, self-esteem, anger management, personal hygiene, academic performance, divorced families, children of incarcerated parents, and alcohol and drug use/abuse are all issues commonly discussed in the group setting.
